Analyse a Scrabble GO screenshot

Scrabboard Solver ·

Use a screenshot from Scrabble GO as the starting point for an analysis in Scrabboard Solver. The application reads the position and lets you compare playable words and their scores on Android.

Capture a position that is easy to read

Take the screenshot while the board and your rack are visible. Close menus, pop-ups or overlays that cover the squares. Keep the original image rather than a compressed copy sent through a messaging application.

The screenshot should represent the position you want to analyse. If another move has been played since the capture, take a new image before comparing solutions.

Choose the right board and word list

Import the screenshot from your gallery, select the Scrabble GO board type and choose the dictionary that matches the language and rules of your game. The application then recognises the board and letters.

Review the recognised position before requesting a solution. Correct letters or blank tiles when necessary, and check that the rack matches the screenshot.

Compare moves on the virtual board

Scrabboard Solver lists possible moves with their scores and shows where they can be placed. Compare several options to understand the opportunities created by existing words and bonus squares.

For practice, try the hint feature first. It can give you part of the answer while leaving you to find the word and placement.

If the suggested word is not accepted

Check the dictionary first: word lists used by different games or regions are not always identical. Then compare the recognised letters, rack and blank tiles with the original screenshot.

A screenshot solver depends on the position it has recognised. Correcting one letter or choosing the matching word list can change the available moves and their scores.

Scrabboard Solver is a separate Android application. It analyses an imported screenshot; it does not play the move inside Scrabble GO for you.
